10th July 2024 – (Hong Kong) At approximately 3pm today, a jet ski carrying two firefighters capsized in the waters near Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, prompting a swift response from the authorities. The Hong Kong Police received a distress call regarding the incident, which occurred just off the coast of the terminal.
The two firefighters, who were aboard the jet ski when it overturned, were fortunately rescued and brought back to shore. Despite the ordeal, both individuals remained conscious and alert. Following the incident, the involved water scooter will be towed to the Marine Police Base in Siu Wan Ho, with several ambulances on standby at the base.
