Fish boat capsizes at Aberdeen West Typhoon Shelter, owner and 4 crew members rescued

21st May 2022 – (Hong Kong) At about 5pm today (21st), the police received a report that a fishing boat about 17 meters long collided with an oil barge at the Aberdeen West Typhoon Shelter. The fishing boat capsized and someone fell into the sea. The marine police arrived at the scene and rescued the owner surnamed Law (72 years old) and four crew members (32 to 47 years old). The owner of the boat was injured and was sent to the Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.
