19th November 2024 – (Hong Kong) Google Play has unveiled its Best of 2024 awards in Hong Kong, recognising exceptional app and game developers while shedding light on emerging trends within the local app and game market. This year’s accolades span across 18 apps and games, encompassing 9 app categories and 9 game categories. Notable winners include the locally beloved “GREEN$ Mobile App” and the ever-popular “Pokémon GO”.

Both “GREEN$ Mobile App” and “Pokémon GO” have left their mark across Hong Kong, harnessing the power of the Google Maps API to offer users seamless experiences in recycling and gaming.
