19th December 2024 – (Hong Kong) Andy Lau, the renowned Hong Kong actor and singer, has made a triumphant return to the Hong Kong Coliseum after a six-year hiatus, drawing a star-studded audience that included notable figures such as Kelly Chen and Gigi Leung. All 20 performances of his concert series have been met with overwhelming demand, resulting in sold-out shows.
During a recent performance, Lau’s 12-year-old daughter, Hanna Lau, was spotted sitting in the front row with several classmates. As Lau sang, Hanna turned around, revealing her charming round eyes reminiscent of her mother, Carol Chu, a striking feature that caught the attention of many fans.
Hanna, who is known for her private lifestyle, has rarely been seen in public. Reports indicate that Andy Lau is quite strict with her upbringing, ensuring that she does not have any social media accounts. He has mentioned that Hanna uses an iPad for her studies but does not own a mobile phone; instead, she uses his device when necessary. Lau has enrolled her at the Victoria Shanghai Academy, an international school renowned for producing International Baccalaureate (IB) scholars who frequently progress to overseas universities. Tuition fees at the school are substantial, with primary years costing around HK$149,600 annually, while secondary school fees range from HK$165,700 to HK$169,600, and pre-university fees are HK$210,060.
