31st October 2024 – (Hong Kong) At around 11.24pm yesterday, an altercation resulted in a woman sustaining head injuries after being struck by a bottle at a bar located in the basement of the Sun Wing Building on Fuk Wing Street in Sham Shui Po.
According to reports, a tattooed man was enjoying his time at the establishment when a dispute arose with a female patron. In a fit of rage, he allegedly threw a bottle, hitting the woman in the head. Bar staff, witnessing the incident, promptly called the authorities for assistance.
Police arrived shortly after receiving the report and found the tattooed man claiming to have sustained injuries himself. He was described as emotionally agitated and was subsequently restrained with handcuffs. Both the man and the injured woman were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Following their investigation, police arrested the man on charges of “assault causing bodily harm.”
