9th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Chief Executive Mr John Lee is scheduled to depart for Shenzhen tomorrow afternoon to participate in the GBA iForum cum Dinner 2025, co-organised by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and various organisations from Guangdong and Hong Kong. He will be joined by the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, and the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong.
This year’s theme is “Forging the Future Together: Shenzhen and Hong Kong’s Collaborative Efforts towards Technological Innovation and New Quality Production.” The event serves as a key highlight for the business sectors in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, bringing together industrial and commercial leaders, academics, and government representatives to explore new development opportunities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Mr Lee is expected to return to Hong Kong later that evening.
