Less than half an hour later, the user updated their post with a photo, thanking everyone for their leads and declaring they had found the true culprit. The images showed a dog wandering around the vehicle, seemingly scratching its claws on the van. The owner humorously concluded, “It was the dog itself.”
In the initial post, many users speculated about the identity of the “offender,” suggesting it was likely a cat or dog, given the nature of the scratches. Comments included observations such as, “If it were a person, they would have done much worse,” and “I’ve had similar issues with pets.”
After uncovering the truth, the netizen shared a picture of their dog near the van, joking about giving it a day without food. They expressed relief that the damage was not caused by human malice, as they couldn’t recall offending anyone. The community responded warmly, forgiving the adorable canine for its antics.
