2nd October 2024 – (Hong Kong) A traffic accident occurred this morning at 9.20am on Fanling Highway, when a van travelling towards Sheung Shui collided with a water barrier at a construction site near Wo Hop Shek.The impact caused the van to overturn, with its front end pointing in the opposite direction. The driver was injured and trapped inside the vehicle. Nearby construction workers assisted in rescuing him until emergency services arrived.
Paramedics transported the injured driver to a nearby hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough examination to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
