12th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Former TVB leading actress Linda Chung, aged 40, who tied the knot with chiropractor Jeremy in 2015, relocated to Canada after marriage and welcomed two daughters and a son. She took a hiatus from the spotlight to focus on her family. However, in recent years, Chung has been actively returning to the entertainment scene. Apart from holding concerts in Guangzhou and Foshan recently, she was also involved in the filming of the HOY TV Chinese New Year program. Following her work commitments, Chung was spotted by a fan on a flight back to Canada, with the image subsequently shared on social media platforms.
The fan remarked, “Caught her early this morning, guess where she’s off to?” In the image, Chung donned a white turtleneck shirt and a cap, presenting a modest appearance as she personally placed her luggage in the overhead compartment. Many online users expressed surprise at her choice to travel in economy class, with comments such as, “I thought she would be in business class,” and “Surprised she’s in economy.” Some also noted the actress’s natural look, commenting on her skin condition: “Her skin looks different,” “Looks quite different without makeup,” “She looks like a man.” However, some fans rationalised that given the early morning departure and the long-haul nature of the flight from Hong Kong to Canada, Chung’s makeup-free appearance was understandable and expectedly different from her usual glamorous on-screen image.
