6th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) HK Express Airways (HK Express) marked a significant milestone in 2024, concluding the year with a remarkable 40% year-on-year increase in total passengers. On 31st December, 2024, the airline celebrated its six-millionth passenger, underscoring its rapid growth and success. This achievement has led to HK Express being recognised as the world’s “Fastest Growing Airline of 2024” by OAG, a leading data platform in the global travel industry.

To commemorate the milestone, the management team welcomed Ms Wan, the six-millionth passenger, at the boarding gate for flight UO668 to Fukuoka. As a token of appreciation, she received six round-trip tickets, encouraging her to continue embracing HK Express’s brand ethos of “Live More” by exploring over 30 destinations.
Ms Wan expressed her delight, saying, “I never thought I would be this lucky! I plan to organise next year’s travel itinerary with my family, focusing on natural scenery, and I will likely explore various destinations in Japan.”
