11th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong actor Natalis Chan, has a storied career that extends beyond entertainment into various business ventures, including a clothing factory. At his peak, Chan’s wealth was reportedly in the tens of millions, accompanied by a collection of five luxury cars. However, his business fortunes took a downturn, leading him to file for bankruptcy in 1988. At that time, his friend Alan Tam generously lent him HK$30,000 as a deposit to assist with the bankruptcy process.
In the early 2000s, Chan partnered with notable figures such as Jackie Chan, Eric Tsang, Alan Tam, and Anita Mui to establish STAR EAST HOLDINGS LIMITED, raising HK$10 million for the venture, which even went public at one point. Unfortunately, Chan faced significant losses due to poor investments in index futures, resulting in another bankruptcy.
Despite these setbacks, Chan has successfully made a comeback and is now believed to have a net worth exceeding HK$100 million, enjoying a comfortable lifestyle. Recently, he showcased his expansive and beautifully landscaped garden, which features an array of flowers and a charming tea table.
