11th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) On 10th January, Hong Kong Customs officials confiscated approximately 12 kilograms of suspected cannabis buds valued at around HK$3.2 million in Tsuen Wan. A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The operation, targeting drug activities, took place in the afternoon when Customs officers stopped a man and discovered about 5 kilograms of suspected cannabis buds concealed in a recycling bag he was carrying. Following his arrest, officers escorted him to a nearby industrial unit, where an additional 7 kilograms of suspected cannabis buds were found hidden among a shipment of LED light panels.
