11th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) A powerful seasonal northerly wind has ushered in a spell of clear weather across Guangdong. This morning, Hong Kong recorded its lowest temperature of the winter at a brisk 11.5°C, noted by the Observatory by 8.30am The relative humidity stood at 49%, while the average ultraviolet index in Tsim Sha Tsui was a low 0.5, indicating minimal sun exposure.

The weather forecast predicts a predominantly sunny day, albeit cold in the morning and extremely dry, with a maximum temperature reaching approximately 17°C. Winds will be moderate to fresh, blowing from the north to northeast, with occasional strong gusts offshore and in elevated areas.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, 12th January, the cold conditions are expected to persist, with significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. The dry spell will continue, and by the following Monday, 13th January, temperatures are anticipated to be pleasantly cool, with an increase in cloud cover and a slight rise in temperature.
