21st September 2023 – (New Delhi) In a recent development, India has temporarily suspended visa services for Canadian citizens, according to an announcement by visa service provider BLS International on Thursday. The suspension of services comes as a result of a notice received from the Indian mission, amidst an ongoing diplomatic dispute between the two countries. The tensions escalated after Ottawa accused New Delhi of being involved in the assassination of a Sikh leader in Canada.
