12th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) A bizarre incident unfolded at the Tate’s Cairn Tunnel, where a man in a grey shirt obstructed the passage of a KMB bus, causing significant disruption to traffic. A video circulating online, approximately one minute in length, captures the moment the man stood in the middle of the road, halting a 277E bus bound for Sha Tin. As the bus came to a stop, the individual raised his hands and lunged at the vehicle’s windscreen.

Witnesses reported that a male passenger approached the front of the bus to assess the situation. In response, the man became verbally aggressive, shouting expletives and expressing his frustration. He then retrieved a square object from his pocket and threw it forcefully to the ground, producing a loud noise. At this time, another bus, the 83X, was also unable to proceed due to the obstruction.

The video, which does not specify the date or time of the incident, shows the chaotic scenes that unfolded at the bus stop.

Passengers on the affected buses later shared their accounts online, noting that the 83X had stopped before the 277E attempted to depart. Following the incident, the man casually returned to the pavement, leaving passengers and drivers bewildered by the disruption.
