31st October 2024 – (Hong Kong) A serious traffic accident occurred on Shantung Street near MacPherson Playground in Mong Kok, involving three vehicles—a van, a private car, and a removal truck. The collision resulted in the van careering onto the pavement, causing damage to the private car and injuring a 22-year-old male pedestrian.
Debris from the crash, including a dislodged tyre, was evident on the road, disrupting morning traffic. Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances and cause of the accident. A recovery vehicle was later dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles and clear the area.
