Motorcyclist collapses mid-ride in Tai Po

7th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) A motorcyclist collapsed while riding his bike. At approximately 12.14pm today, the 62-year-old man, identified as Mr Ho, was travelling along Tai Po Tai Wo Road towards Yuen Shin Road. As he approached the junction near Nam Wan Road and in front of Tai Po Centre, he suddenly fell unconscious, alarming motorists behind him who promptly called for assistance.

The emergency services arrived swiftly, and Mr Ho was transported by ambulance to North District Hospital for initial treatment before being transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin for further care. The police have classified the incident as a case of an individual collapsing and are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
