16th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Echo Huang Shaomei, CEO of New World Development Co Ltd, has purchased a luxury apartment at the State Theatre in North Point. Within just six days, nine residences were successfully sold.
The recently acquired unit, part of the Noble Collection, boasts a spacious layout featuring four bedrooms and two suites, along with a storage room. With a saleable area of 1,522 square feet, the property was sold for HK$54.88 million, translating to a price per square foot of HK$ 36,058.
New World Development disclosed that Huang submitted her bid for the property on January 15, 2025, the deadline for offers, and the seller accepted her proposal the following day. The net proceeds from this sale are intended to bolster the company’s general operating funds.
