6th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) After a two-decade absence, Nicholas Tse is reportedly gearing up for a concert in Hong Kong, igniting widespread speculation and excitement among fans. Recent online chatter suggests he could be the first artist to perform at the newly inaugurated Kai Tak Sports Park, with images circulating that allegedly show Tse conducting a soundcheck at the venue.
While official details about the concert remain unconfirmed, social media has been abuzz with a video featuring a familiar figure holding a guitar on the park’s grass, testing the sound as his hit song “VIVA” plays in the background. Drones were spotted capturing the moment, hinting at a promotional shoot for the anticipated event.
Tse has previously indicated his desire to perform in “special outdoor venues,” and his manager recently announced that he would be clearing his schedule for performances this year. The timing aligns perfectly with the opening of Kai Tak Sports Park, which is set to welcome its first events this season.
Further fuelling the excitement, Alex Fung, the event planner for Emperor Entertainment, was seen at the Kai Tak site, presumably conducting preparations for Tse’s concert. Rumours have also emerged that Tse, following the footsteps of the renowned band Coldplay, is set to take the stage at Kai Tak on 1st April, with additional tour dates yet to be officially announced.
