14th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) At around 1.50am today, a motorcycle parking area outside Kam Tai Court in Ma On Shan was engulfed in flames, resulting in the destruction of nine motorcycles and one bicycle. Witnesses reported seeing smoke and fire, prompting them to contact emergency services for assistance.
Firefighters arrived swiftly at the scene and were able to extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. Preliminary investigations conducted by the fire department revealed the presence of accelerants at the site, raising suspicions about the cause of the fire. As a result, the case has been referred to law enforcement authorities for further inquiry into the possibility of arson. No arrests have been made at this time.
