Police seek public assistance in search for missing 90-year-old man in Kwai Chung

16th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) The Hong Kong Police have issued an appeal for information regarding the disappearance of 90-year-old Chan Sheung-kwai, who went missing on 15th January. Chan was last seen leaving his home at Shek Yam Estate in the morning, prompting his family to report his absence to the authorities.

Chan is described as approximately 1.75 metres tall, weighing around 60 kilograms, and possessing a thin build. He has a long face, a yellow complexion, and is bald with short white hair on the sides. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a brown beanie, a yellow-brown checked scarf, a blue down gilet, a dark long-sleeved shirt, brown trousers, and dark sports shoes.

The police are urging anyone who may have seen Chan or knows of his whereabouts to come forward. They can contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of New Territories South at 3661 1176 or 9628 7078, or email rmpu-nts-2@police.gov.hk. Information can also be provided at any local police station.
