11th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Police issued an appeal today, for information regarding two individuals who have gone missing in different areas of Hong Kong.
Ronald Taylor, aged 72, was reported missing after leaving his residence at 12 Waterfront Road in Tung Chung on 9th January. His family notified the authorities on 10th January.
Taylor is described as approximately 1.8 metres tall, weighing 95 kilograms, with a stout build. He has a round face, fair complexion, and short grey and white hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black jacket, blue trousers, brown shoes, and glasses, and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
Anyone with information on Ronald Taylor’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of New Territories South at 3661 1176 or 9415 4495, or via email at rmpu-nts-2@police.gov.hk. Information can also be reported to any police station.
In a separate incident, police are also seeking information on Cheung Hung-hoi, a 74-year-old man who went missing after leaving his care home on Waterloo Road on 10th January. Staff at the care facility reported him missing shortly thereafter.
Cheung is described as about 1.6 metres tall, weighing 55 kilograms, with a normal build. He has a pointed face, yellow complexion, and short white hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white jacket, a black and white striped T-shirt, blue trousers, and blue and white shoes.
Anyone who may have seen Cheung Hung-hoi or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of Kowloon West at 3661 8038 or 9020 6542, or by emailing rmpu-kw@police.gov.hk. Reports can also be made at any police station.
