31st October 2024 – (Hong Kong) Authorities in Tai Po conducted a coordinated anti-vice operation on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of 16 mainland Chinese women aged between 29 and 45. The operation was carried out by local police in conjunction with Immigration Department officers.
The arrests took place around 3pm at various locations, including Kwong Fuk Square and Kwong Fuk Road in Tai Po, as well as Fu Hing Street, San Hong Street, and San Fat Street in Sheung Shui. The suspects are being held for allegedly violating their conditions of stay in Hong Kong.
All individuals detained are currently under investigation, and the case will be handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.
