10th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) A video recently circulated online shows a troubling incident involving a couple in a taxi, where the female passenger accused her boyfriend of domestic violence. In the clip, she is heard crying out, “He wants to hit me!” and “I don’t want to go home!” Furthermore, she claimed that her nails had been damaged during the altercation and expressed frustration at not being allowed to call her father for help.
Despite the boyfriend’s insistence that she was merely intoxicated, the driver attempted to calm the situation while driving. As they passed a police car, the woman urgently sought assistance from the officers.
After stopping the taxi, the driver reportedly approached the police for help. Upon the arrival of the officers, the woman became momentarily composed but quickly resumed her distress, prompting her boyfriend to exit the vehicle as well, leading to an inquiry by the police.
