10th January 2025 – (Hong Kong) Tesla has officially launched the 2025 version of its Model Y in Hong Kong, with the rear-wheel drive variant priced from HK$339,000 after trade-in. Deliveries are set to commence as early as May.
The new Model Y offers five colour options, including the standard Mystic Grey, with Pearl White available for an additional HK$9,600. Other choices include Glacier Blue, Lightning Silver, and Ultimate Red, each costing an extra $14,000. Buyers can select between 19-inch Crossflow wheels or upgrade to the 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels for an additional $15,500. The interior is available in either all-black or a black-and-white combination.
In terms of design, the 2025 Model Y features headlights with a continuous light bar similar to those found on the Cybertruck, complemented by newly integrated rear projection lights akin to the Model 3. The lighting system can also be operated via a lever.
Performance-wise, the rear-wheel drive version boasts a range of 466 km (WLTP), a top speed of 201 km/h, and an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The Long Range all-wheel drive variant offers an extended range of 551 km (WLTP), with identical top speed and a quicker acceleration time of 4.3 seconds to 100 km/h.
