5th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) The latest round of the government’s vehicle replacement scheme, known as “one-for-one,” commenced on Monday with a 40% reduction in first registration tax. In response to this, Tesla has announced a price adjustment for its Model Y electric vehicle starting from today, with discounts of up to 11%. Following the implementation of the “one-for-one” scheme, the starting price for the Model Y has been lowered to HK$349,150.
Additionally, Tesla has introduced three new car body colours that can change in different lighting and angles. Interested buyers can place orders through the official website, although these three colour options will incur an additional cost of HKD $4,000.
