
2nd August 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 2.18am today, worker sustained an electric shock while carrying out maintenance work at MTR Hong Kong Station.
The worker, who was stationed approximately two metres above the platform, was in the process of replacing a ceiling light bulb when he is believed to have suffered an electric shock.
The worker’s colleague promptly contacted emergency services to request assistance. Upon arrival, the paramedics found the worker had sustained an injury to his right hand. He was then transported to the hospital.
