XRP surges 12.28% as market capitalisation reaches US$159.8 billion

The upward movement boosted XRP’s market capitalisation to $159.8036 billion, representing 4.76% of the total cryptocurrency market. During this rally, XRP’s market cap peaked at $155.2807 billion. In the preceding twenty-four hours, XRP fluctuated between $2.6511 and $2.8905.

Over the past week, XRP has appreciated by 19.23%, with trading volume in the last twenty-four hours reaching $14.7117 billion, accounting for 12.04% of the total volume across all cryptocurrencies. During this week, it has traded between $2.2358 and $2.8905.

Despite the recent surge, XRP remains 12.88% below its all-time high of $3.29, which was reached on January 4, 2018.

In broader cryptocurrency trading, Bitcoin is currently priced at $98,217.1, marking an increase of 1.94%. Meanwhile, Ethereum is trading at $3,263.64, up by 1.70%.
