3rd November 2023 – (Hong Kong) The highly anticipated China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, a prestigious event in the film industry, commenced on November 1st and will span four consecutive days. The grand opening ceremony welcomed esteemed guests including Zhu Yilong, Zhang Yi, Wu Jing, Wang Yibo, Zhou Dongyu, Kara Wai, and Yang Zi. The festival has been packed with exciting activities such as the opening ceremony, Xiamen Film and Television Cultural Industry Project Signing Ceremony, Chinese-language Film Promotion Conference, and market screenings.
Renowned Hong Kong artist Louis Koo was present at the film investment conference on the second day of the festival. As a member of the project jury, Koo expressed his eager anticipation for the emergence of outstanding films throughout the event.
One of the festival highlights was the participation of Zhou Dongyu, Zhang Yixing, Wu Jing, and Kara Wai, who served as ambassadors for the Chinese-language youth films and Chinese-language film promotion. The star-studded quartet graced the occasion in their elegant attire, with Zhou Dongyu captivating attention in a stunning white Tube Dress that exuded sophistication.
Upon Wu Jing’s arrival at the venue, a team of security personnel was assigned to ensure his safety. However, to the surprise of onlookers, Wu Jing promptly requested their evacuation, explaining that their presence made him feel uncomfortable and desirous of avoiding any potential misconceptions of arrogance. Wu Jing’s act of humility aimed to prevent any negative rumours from circulating online.
