5th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) Japanese digital art collective NAKED is set to captivate the senses of art enthusiasts in Hong Kong with its renowned Naked Flowers exhibition. Starting from 27th April, visitors will have the opportunity to experience this multisensory art extravaganza at 1881 Heritage, located in the vibrant district of Tsim Sha Tsui.

Led by Japanese artist Ryotaro Muramatsu, the exhibition invites participants to embark on a mesmerizing journey through eight distinct participatory art rooms, all centred around the theme of “learning the secrets of flowers.” Each room offers a unique interactive experience, allowing visitors to engage with the digital artworks through sight, touch, and movement, unravelling the enchanting stories hidden within the floral realm.

The Naked Flowers experience commences with the “Naked Big Book,” a popular creation by the digital art collective. Following the path of scattered petals in “The Flower Path,” visitors are led to the captivating “Big Flower Garden,” where larger-than-life blossoms beckon them closer, emanating a gentle fragrance that enthrals the senses. Inside the “Digital Flower Garden,” the space is divided into three distinct experiences, allowing guests to cultivate their own flowers, flutter about as a butterfly amidst the vibrant blooms, and witness the mesmerizing illumination of the flowers as night falls.

In the “Mosaic Flower Garden,” visitors can delve into the symbolic meanings behind each flower, while the “Microscopy of Flowers” offers a kaleidoscope-like space, unveiling the mysterious world of floral cells. The “Ousai Garden” presents an opportunity for everyone to witness the remarkable life cycle of a flower, from its humble seed to its resplendent bloom. Finally, the Naked Flowers exhibition concludes with “Dandelion,” Muramatsu’s long-term project that involves planting this emblem of peace worldwide.

Following this enchanting floral odyssey, visitors are encouraged to visit the Naked Café Bar, where they can indulge in refreshing beverages. The interactive round tables in the café add to the immersive experience, as placing a drink on the table triggers a blossoming display of flowers across its surface.

The Naked Flowers exhibition will run from 27th April until 27th October, 2024. Early bird tickets are currently available until 26th April, priced at HK$150 for adults and HK$120 for children, students, seniors, and disabled guests. After this period, adult tickets will be priced at HK$180, while concessionary tickets will cost HK$150. Throughout the ticket sales period, visitors can also take advantage of any promotions offered by Trip.com and enjoy an exclusive offer for Bank of China Chill Card holders.
