Bardiya
A 38-year-old man was injured when a tiger attacked him near Budhikhola in ward 1 of Barbardiya Municipality in Bardiya district on Tuesday.
Police identified the victim as Raj Kumar Tharu.
Tharu had gone to the buffer zone of Bardiya National Park to herd buffalos.
He is being treated at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj and is out of danger, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Tulsiram Aryal.
